Pallet in Transit Liability Cover
This page aims to provide a brief overview of the options available for goods in pallet transit liability cover. For more detailed information please see our Conditions of Carriage (these are available by clicking the link below).
Standard Liability Cover
All Palletised goods carried through the Team C & Fortec distribution network are carried under RHA Conditions of Carriage (2009). Standard conditions limit liability to £5 per kilo with a maximum of £5000 per tonne, an excess of £50 applies to each claim. Exclusions apply. The following goods are specifically excluded and can only be carried at the customers own risk.
- Personal Effect or Household Removals
- Documents
- Perishable Items
- Glass Cabinets
The following items list cannot be carried in any circumstances through the Team C & Fortec distribution network.
- Living Creatures
- Noxious substances liable to cause damage to other freight, especially foodstuffs
- Hazardous goods classified above limited quantities (LQ)
